About Blood Test Guide India

Welcome to Blood Test Guide India — a professional health education resource dedicated to helping patients across India understand their diagnostic reports with clarity and confidence.

The Expert Behind the Blog

I am Purushottam Laxman Mhatre, a Pathology Laboratory owner based in the Kalyan-Bhiwandi region of Maharashtra. With years of experience in the diagnostic industry, I launched this platform in early 2026 to solve a common problem: the "information gap" between a lab report and a doctor’s consultation.

In my daily practice at the lab, I noticed that patients often feel anxious when they see "High" or "Low" flags on their reports without understanding the clinical context. I created Blood Test Guide India to serve as a bridge—providing easy-to-read, scientifically accurate explanations of pathology tests so you can have more meaningful conversations with your healthcare providers.

Our Clinical Focus

  • Simplified Pathology: Breaking down complex biomarkers (like CRP, HbA1c, or ASO Titre) into plain language.
  • Indian Context: Lab reference ranges and disease patterns (like Typhoid, Malaria, and Dengue) specific to the Indian population.
  • Bilingual Accessibility: Content available in both English and Hindi to ensure health literacy reaches every community.
  • Professional Standards: Insights based on NABL-aligned laboratory practices and Indian medical standards.

Our Mission: Health Literacy

Our goal is to empower you with knowledge. While we provide the "what" and "why" of a blood test, we always emphasize that clinical correlation is key. A lab report is only one piece of the puzzle; your treating physician is the only person qualified to provide a final diagnosis based on your physical symptoms and medical history.
